I love your slips!! Perfect spot for them. When I was little I had lots of slips and silky dresses... I used to play for hours with them. I felt like a princess:)

Does anyone remember the bright multi-colored aluminum glasses from the 1950s or so? They came in sets of multiple colors. Are they safe to drink out of?

Kelli

I have a collection of slips too. Most of mine are from the 70's and 80's, but I do have slips from the 50's, 60's, 90's and newer. I also have a huge box of slips from Japan, Europe, Australia. I think I have every Ashley Taylor ever made. I have the Joan Collins Collection, Avon, Vanity Fair, Sliperfection, Fortune, JCpenney, Sears, etc. I had over 3500 slips at one time and I just sold about half of them to a collector out in Utah. The rest I will sell individually if anyone is interested. I just don't have any more room for them and I wish I could just buy an old house just to display my slips. Wouldn't that be awesome! Maybe someday. If anyone is looking for a particular slip, just email me. Chances are I will have it! Just send me a pic or a description, or an era.
