Zapp Hall is the show where I started out at the big Texas Flea Market Show because several of my blogger friends had booths there and I really wanted to meet them. Yesterday I took you to Theresa Cano's booth which is also at Zapp Hall. Today, we are going to visit Mindy of Primitiques 'N Poetry.
Mindy's booth was filled with curiosities and oddities. I call her style "Quirky Vintage Cool".
That's a fabulous vintage French daybed that my best buddy Miss B. would love to have. Exactly what she's been looking for.
Check out that metal turquoise table! Wouldn't I love to have that baby in my studio/craft room.
Oooooh, do you see that little cream wire soap dish in the tall metal cabinet on the right? I wanted it, but by the time I came back a couple of hours later, poof, it was gone! Geez, couldn't they have bought any of the other soap dishes that Mindy had on display?
I don't think you can see it very well in the above photo, but this piece of metal had the most wonderful patina on it. I thought it would look fabulous against a very pale colour wall with old photos and cards attached to it. Alas, also too big for my suitcase.
I also loved that white bench above - would have been perfect for my mudroom at the farmhouse.
So much great stuff chez Mindy. I really enjoyed meeting her and her super assistant, constant support, photographer and boyfriend, David. They really make a fantastic team together.
Let's zoom in on this most fabulous bar cart on the left.
Isn't that amazing? The industrial chic look. Also a fabulous collection of carafes, don't you think? I'll have you know that my friend Isabelle who accompanied me on my first day at the flea market went home with at least a couple of them. Of course now I regret that I didn't take few home with me too.

Zita, it was a pleasure meeting you. I just hate that about the soap dish. I'll keep an eye out for another. Thanks for your sweet words, also. We were glad to see you coming to visit each time. Such a joy, you are! ~Mindy
