A Room of One's Own - Part 2

 

Here is a little "Before" shot of the dark basement room that will be my new craft room/studio.

 

 

Those pale blue walls were difficult to cover. The blue kept coming through the coats of paint my father and husband put on the walls.

 

The "After" shots.

 

 

 

 

Ceiling, walls and floor are now all painted white. The room is actually brighter than before although you can't really tell from the photos due to the poor lighting.

 

 

The ceiling medallion is also up. Now we just have to wait for the paint to really dry before we start moving my stuff in. My stuff from the disastrous back of the basement playroom...

 

 

 

 

Rules for Setting Up My Craft Room/Studio:

1.  I will use what I already have.

2.  I will try to fit all my stuff in this room and not spread out all over the house.

3.  Main colours will be whites, beiges and pink.

It will be beautiful! Your dad and hubby did an awesome job painting - love it! You have your work cut out ahead of you for setting up - I don't envy you - but enjoy it and make it all special! I have tons of those frilly fufu petticoat skirts in my mall spaces - I love those!
