While my three children were out with the puppy playing in the nearby school yard the other evening, they saw this lying on the ground and immediately thought of me.
A perfectly shabby white door knob. Of course they brought it home for me. Don't you just love it when your kids "get you"?!! Or anyone for that matter...

Zita, that is so fabulous that they saw this and knew you would love it!

Lovely. And those summery blues are fabulous too. I'm popping over from Cottage Charm and Family Inspiration where she posted about the wonderful items your son makes. How fortunate to be so young and already have a clear direction for the future. Good luck to him! And best wishes to all, Tammy

That's better than bringing you a dandelion! This lasts a lot longer.
And to think. Somebody out there lost a cool decor piece and probably doesn't care. I do have lots of chuckles at the looks from people who don't get our style.

Your kids deserve some kind of award for being terrific, I'd say! I love that they brought that old door knob home to you. It makes it extra special too, doesn't it?
Please tell Vejas that Mr. Fox is happy & having adventures. He went to Hollywood the other day and had a run-in with Dracula though. He escaped so all is well. Mr. Fox's Great Adventure will appear sometime next week on my blog.

Very cute. My son would have seen it and said Hide it before Mom sees it!
