I finished a couple of swaps. This is for the "I'd Rather Be In Paris" swap.
We did a lot of gardening.
I did a lot around the house, and in my cutting garden.
My cutting garden is not very far along this year, due to the cold spring.
Here's the vegetable garden, where husband and the children worked.
There was flower picking.
I worked on some painting projects. Here are two bookcases that I primed and painted white, to go one on top of the other, for storing my collection of magazines.
There was lots of barbecuing, including a pig roast to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st. The pig is getting carved up here.
The children dove into some of my supplies and worked on sewing many felt animal friends.
Some work got done on the old milk shed. The door was removed and the opening was opened up to its original size. We're thinking salvaged French doors.
Husband and best friend dug out the front (to prevent flooding inside) and started to lay a stone patio using rocks that were dug up around the farmhouse.
Of course I did some junking/antiqueing during those two weeks at all of my favourite places. One of the things I found was this old picture from 1918 (according to the newspaper backing on the frame). I just love it.
There was also a lot of ice cream eating during vacation. Here is my littlest one.
We at ice cream everyday. Twice a day! Unfortunately, my Pilates instructor said we're going to have to work very hard to get rid of the evidence :)

I don't know what is sweeter: the ice cream, the cute felt pets or the little hands holding them!
Great bookcases, can't wait to see them finished!
