For sweet little Bella - a trio of Vintage French Things.
1) A beautiful drawstring bag made of vintage and antique French fabrics and lace.
2) Un petit ballotin de lavande de Provence -- a lavender sachet, also made with vintage/antique fabrics.
3) Three vintage French books from the early 40's, from my personal collection.
I wish I could sew well, but I'm just not there. However, Madame la proprietaire of L'Atelier du Presbytere is an excellent seamstress. This is a beautiful drawstring bag that she has sewn out of vintage and antique French fabrics and lace, with the addition of embroidery.
You could use this as a laundry bag for your delicates or fine washables. Or you could hang it up in your kitchen to hold plastic bags. Really you could use it for many different things.
The sweet lavender sachet smells divine and comes with a little loop so you can hang it up in your closet if you like.
These vintage French books from the early 40's have a lovely warm patina. Just perfectly aged, and ready to add character to anyone's home.
Tickets for Bella's amazing raffle go on sale tomorrow here, $10 a ticket. There will be well over 30 prizes donated by the Junk Sistas, so go and take a look. As I've mentioned before, all of the proceeds will go to help pay little Bella's medical bills.
